Grand Opening – Red House BBQ – Tehachapi, CA
The Tehachapi News is reporting that Red House BBQ opened last week in the old Mama Hillybeans location in Tehachapi, CA.
Owner Mano Lujan, a veteran of BBQ festivals, will be “smoking pork ribs, buffalo ribs, brisket, chicken, tri-tip, elk, venison and maybe a surprise or two.”
If you get a chance to stop by, shoot me an email with a photo and review as I would love to share it.

I just got back from eating a delicious pulled pork sandwich with a side of beans…and I’ll be back again for more. I didn’t even know that this place had opened up until a couple of hours ago. How could I have missed it? Anyway, it was perfect. The pork sandwich was juicy and extremely tender. The beans were flavored perfectly. My co-worker got a half-rack or ribs and said they were delicious as well. The prices were a little high, but for the quality of food, I plan on heading back again soon.
