Review – Kielbasa Beef/Pork Burgers – Grilliant Ideas

I’ve often held the conviction that if you like BBQ, you like burgers. I know for certain that’s the case for me. I pretty much can’t get enough of either and I’m sure one day my future cardiologist will be glad I chose this path in life. I also really love sausage and since I’ve been young the Kielbasa has held a warm place in my heart. So when I found out that Grilliant Ideas (wegotburgers.com) had come up with a Kielbasa Beef/Pork Burger I knew I couldn’t pass this up trying it.

The burgers are packed four to a pack (1/2 lb. generous patties). They come frozen, which is incredibly convenient. You just have to pop them on a grill or broil them in your oven.

My assistant, Olwen, was attentive the moment they came out of the box.

Here they are on the grill (you just have to wait for moisture to form on the tops to flip).

Once again, Olwen was ready to lend a paw for some burger.

After the flip we went for jalapeno jack cheese on two of them and plain for the third.

Seriously, look how moist they turned out.

I couldn’t wait to dig into this huge burger I created.

Suffice to say I was incredibly happen with the end result. You could definitely taste the kielbasa flavor, but it didn’t overpower. You still knew you were eating a really good burger. I know have to order some of their other flavors which look just as tasty. Here’s the complete list:

Brat Burger
Kielbasa Burger
Italian Burger
Salami Burger
Pineapple Teriyaki Burger
Jalapeno Cheddar Burger
Chile Cheddar Burger
Bacon Cheddar Burger

Check out what they’ve got going in their test kitchen here.

I’ll definitely be ordering more and the thing I liked most was that they were easy to store in the freezer. Just felt like I wasn’t going to be wasting any of them if I chose to just eat two.
