There is a "For Sale" sign in the front window as of early February, 2011. I ate there once for lunch in November and I considered it overpriced and the food (including the pork, their signature) was very bland. They had fast food at elevated foodie prices, a combination that doesn't go over well with the, er, "rustic" (briar) local clientele. This location seems to be certain death for restaurants.

We celebrated my mom's 80th b'day party at this place. We loved the food. Mom thought they have the best BBQ sandwiches (she tasted from all of our plates) and ribs platter that I had ordered was absolutely D-I-V-I-N-E!!! The fish platter with rice pilaf that my husband ordered was also yummy. Very well priced items, excellent customer service. My kids cleaned up their plates. My nephews had fun playing on the machines in the game alley which gave us time to talk to each other and enjoy our wines.... I have told all of my friends about this place. If you're in Mason or Cincinnati, it's worth the drive! Also just read that it was voted one of the top ten BBQ restaurants in Cincinnati... and I'm not surprised that a brand new location made it this far so fast. Will make it back many more times.

My husband and I ate here last night. It was ok. Pulled pork was barely warm. Corn bread was good. Apple strudel was almost too sweet, but not bad. Server was talkative, friendly and very slow. We had great service and food at Docs the night before so we were disappointed with Silver Street BBQ. We liked the previous restaurant, Wild Bills, that was at the same location. We won't be back.
