Russ’ Ribs – Bristow, Oklahoma
I’ve gotten a few emails recently about Russ’ Ribs in Bristow, Oklahoma located on Route 66. People have been saying I need to visit to try their ribs, but especially their tri-tip. Did some research and found a story by NewsOn6 in Oklahoma.

We stopped at Russ’ Ribs for take-out while driving Rte. 66 about 5 years ago. Food was absolutely delicious!! Tender and tasty! What more can I say? Waiting for the order was a real treat, too. A well-worn Sheriff sedan with no hubcaps was parked out front. Inside, front and center, sat the rotund Sheriff in a pair of blue jeans and uniform shirt. He ate with much gusto and held court with everyone in the place. Russ’ is the kind of place you could easily sit down and kill an hour or two ingesting great food and local color. I’d go!!
