I have traveled the country in my job for years. I have stopped at every BBQ joint that I knew of and Smittys is my favorite for shear meat. The brisket melts in your mouth. Ribs unreal. Smittys meat tends to be a little fatty but that to me is where the real flavor is.
I am flying to Austin TX in 2 weeks and will be hitting. Smittys, Kreutz in Lockhart, Rudy’s in Austin and Taylor Cafe and Louie Muellers in Taylor.
