Here is a take from California. Oaklahma Joe’s hands down winner. We spent a week eating and judging at the ‘American Royal BBQ” championship. We hit up a few on your list. We would ask all the locals about which is their favorite. They would never mention Oaklahma Joe’s. We found out why later. Oaklahoma Joe’s is located in Kansas and not Missouri. There still is a rival. You can read about some of our K.C. bbq reviews and the American Royal. Just type in the barbeque restaraunt name or Amercan Royal in the search.
