Here’s a photo of some Hippos in Hutto, TX (about 7 miles east of Round Rock and for those outside of Texas it’s pronounced “hutt-oh”). Per Roadside America there are ‘about 100 concrete hippos are scattered throughout this community, including a large one in front of the high school. Apparently an escaped circus hippo in the early 20th century created quite a stir here.”
