There are legends in KC like Gates and Arthur Bryant, but Oklahoma Joe's has a special place in my heart. It's the first place I ever ordered a pulled pork sandwich, and halfway through, knew I'd have been better off ordering two because I didn't want to finish one and have to wait for the second one that I was inevitably going to order. Of all the bbq joints near him, he liked Oklahoma Joe's the best, so he took me there. The ribs were delicious! It's too bad he moved away... I'd like to eat there again.
