Griffin and Harrison from Southern Soul Barbeque in St. Simons Island, GA have teamed up with Kevin’s BBQ Joints to give away (3) sets of their small batch craft BBQ sauces that are now available to the public via their website HERE as well as a few featured local and regional retailers.

This sauce is incredible. I can definitely vouch for it as it’s one of my favorite sauces of all times. Tom Porter from Big Butz BBQ creates very well balanced sauces that go great with pork, chicken, lamb, beef, and really just about anything. If you ask anyone in my house what rub I should put on a steak, pork shoulder, chicken, or brisket the unanimous response will be “Draper’s BBQ A.P. Rub!” There’s a similar response when asking what sauce should be used (“Draper’s BBQ!”). I think the reason is that Shane Draper from Draper’s BBQ has done an incredible job of balancing flavors without being overpowering (they let the rubs and sauces enhance the meat instead of masking or overshadowing it).

I am extremely excited to announce that Man Up Texas BBQ and Kevin’s BBQ Joints are banding together to put on a Snow’s BBQ Giveaway. My excitement for this new giveaway is two-fold. First off, I’ve dreamt of traveling to Lexington, Texas to visit Snow’s BBQ since I read about them in the June 2008 issue of Texas Monthly where they were ranked #1.
