Archibalds has been a staple BBQ joint for many years in the Tuscaloosa area. While another place across town get most of the publicity, Archibalds quietly keeps on smokin' up some of the best ribs you ever put in your mouth. Their sauce is very tangy & makes for the sandwiches, which are served on plain white bread, a very messy experience - a sign of a good BBQ joint. This place is hard to find, located in a neighborhood off to the side of a small house on a little hill with limited parking & seating. But who goes there to park & sit - the BBQ is worth any inconvenience you may encounter. And the owners are good folks, too. Roll Tide!
