After my interview HERE with Sergio Menchaca from Texas Sage Forge and all our discussions about how he forges knives he got inspired that very night to forge a knife (see photos below) and have his daughter document it on video(see YouTube video below).
He then offered to provide THIS VERY chefs knife in a giveaway. It is a narrow chefs knife forged from plow disc blade steel and a natural Bois D'Arc (Osage Orange) handle. It's beautiful (or ugly as he says) and valued around $ 200.00.
The giveaway will run from Tuesday April 20th to Friday April 23rd with the winner randomly chosen (by an online randomizer) at midnight Pacific time April 23rd.
