In this episode I chat with Danny Gordon from Flatpoint Barbecue in Los Angeles, California. Currently he pops up every Saturday at Surf Liquor on Main Street in Santa Monica(just north of Ocean Park) from 11AM til sold out. He’s only been officially on a weekly basis since January, but he has quickly become a bright shining star of central Texas style BBQ here in Los Angeles. Not only does he have amazing brisket, ribs, and sausage(scratch made), but he has killer sides, super unique and delicious sandwiches, and specials such as lamb shawarma and pastrami beef ribs. Hear his story, his passion, what you can look forward to the future of Flatpoint and most importantly his desire to bring incredible barbecue to the city.
